A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a successful, award winning, and market leading organisation based in Gloucester. LearnPad develops cutting-edge platforms, web services, and mobile applications for schools. We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Test Engineer to join our busy and friendly team. The Junior Test Engineer will be testing new versions of software, web portals, new content and prototype hardware.
This position would ideally suit a graduate candidate with some work experience, looking for an opportunity to join a fun and exciting company and develop their testing skills working on multiple projects. We are looking for enthusiastic candidates willing to work hard and contribute to the development of exciting new products and services. You will work closely with the development and support teams, to test prototype advanced versions and next generation platforms of our educational solutions.
- Experience with QA testing
- Knowledge of Windows networks including Active Directory, switches, routers, proxies, subnets, WAP’s, TCP/IP configuration, Samba and DFS share configuration
- Knowledge of mobile technologies (Android and iOS)
- Hardware knowledge (mainly PC and tablets)
- A good standard of written and verbal English
Educational: GCSE English & Maths. Would suit a graduate with a technical degree.
Any of MCITP, MCSE, CompTIA A+/Network+, ISTQB or working towards would be an advantage.
Experience: Commercial testing experience is a distinct advantage

Salary: £14k to £16k DOE
Holidays: 23 plus public holidays
