Award-winning classroom technology supplier, Avantis Systems, has been announced as a finalist for no less than five 2016 Bett Awards. Avantis impressed the judges with its entries for both LearnPad and ClassCharge products in the Digital Devices (2 entries), ICT Company of the Year (over £3m turnover), Free Digital Content/Open Educational Resources and The ICT Innovator of the Year categories.
Forming a fundamental part of Bett, the world’s leading event for learning technology and considered by many as the most esteemed accolade in the industry, the Bett Awards provide a showcase of resources and companies that seek to provide educators with the information, ideas and inspiration to support teaching and learning.
Nik Tuson, Avantis Managing Director comments:
“We’re delighted to be shortlisted for yet another five Bett Awards this year and we see this as testament of our endeavour to drive forward innovation in classroom technology. It’s great to be recognised for both our LearnPad and ClassCharge products and their contribution to teaching and learning using IT. I’m very proud of the team that have worked incredibly hard this year to deliver so many great new products.”
The winners of the 18th annual Bett Awards will be announced from the shortlist at the Awards Dinner at The Brewery, London on Wednesday 20th January, the first evening of Bett 2016.
